Here's the trailer of the upcoming feature film Shorts.

AKFPL & Tumbhi's Shorts will introduce accolade winning Short Films in a feature format to the Indian theatres. The film will bring together critically acclaimed actors such as Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Richa Chadda, Vineet Singh, Shweta Tripathi amongst others.

Description
In a self-consumed mainstream industry, going against the set formula and norm is sacrilege. At AKFPL (Anurag Kashyap Films Pvt Ltd) one is encouraged to everything that is not mainstream. It’s about presenting an idea and evolving with it.

AKFPL believes in delivering meaningful cinema, mirroring our society in its myriad hues and shades. Spearheaded by writer-director, Anurag Kashyap and producer Guneet Monga, the company is carving a niche for itself in both national and international markets.

Since its inception, the company has churned out films like Udaan (2010), That Girl in Yellow Boots (2010), Shaitan (2011) and Gangs of Wasseypur (I & II). Some upcoming films include Michael, Monsoon Shootout, Aiyya, and Peddlers. AKFPL also co-produced Trishna directed by Michael Winterbottom. Projects under-development include The Lunchbox (Dabba); Toba Tek Singh and Danis Tanović’s next venture.

Gangs of Wasseypur (I & II) and Peddlers recently premiered at the Cannes Film Festival at the Directors’ Fortnight and International Critics’ Week sections respectively. Trishna and Michael screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2011. Udaan was officially selected to compete in the Un Certain Regard category at Cannes Film Festival, 2010 and Window on Asian Cinema category at Pusan International Film Festival, the same year. That Girl in Yellow Boots, was at Venice Film Festival in 2010 and later at Toronto Film Festival.
